A new nature activity to do:
Fishing in streams @ Bishan Park!
We spotted many people using little nets to fish in the streams while cycling/blading one day. It looked fun, so we decided to try too!
The water was gentle and suitable for kids who are able to balance well. The stream bed was full of rocks with algae so it may be quite dangerous but so far, I saw many young kids balancing well, with a few splashing down into the water but enjoying the experience. Anyway, it's not easy to catch the fish. They are very smart and camouflage really well! It requires patience. Patience from Celeste who expects the fish to jump into the net immediately. Patience from us who has to listen to Celeste go, "Why no fish? Can you catch a fish for meeeee?"
Celeste loves this new activity so much that she wants to go fishing every time we mention Bishan Park!
