Celeste & Cyrus Ng

Came back from work and saw Cyrus playing with his little wooden cars. When I asked "where are your cars? " he understands!
Tested many times. Whenever i said the word car, he'll look for his cars. At least some response.

Tdy he also insisted on wearing the shoes he chose. He only wanted to wear the blue shoes Celeste bought for him and nothing else. kept squeaking until I took the correct pair of shoes for him.

Then heard from grandpa and grand ma that he was very active when they + to NTUC just now with him. kept running about. -Did not want to be held. so naughty! When he saw the fishes in the pond, he said, "ump!!" LOL. Did he think that those were the fishes that he always ate? So cute.I hope I see him respond more and more day by day. Hope he shows improvement otherwise I would really have to bring him to Dr Lee for a checkup.

Hehe such a funny sight. Was walking didi for a walk coz he was kinda cranky from not taking his afternoon nap cosa he pooed. Didn't realise he had fallen asleep until I pushed him all the way to ave 5!


Still asleep when I reached our lift. And continued his sleep even when he was carried to bed! Hope he remains sleeping throughout the night!

This morning, and several other times, I noticed Cyrus will have a curious look on his face and touch his front part of the pampers. Thought that he was indicating that he was peeing but instead saw him poo. Think he is rather ready to be Toilet trained! However that aside, I still get quite worried about his communicative abilities. He doesn't respond very well to his name or our instructions. Everyone says that it's still too early to be worried. On one hand while I am ready to be in denial mode and think that he is perhaps just slower in that area, on the other hand I cannot stop looking out for signs or lack of signs that he is autistic or something maybe wrong with him. His ability to comprehend seems bad. He often does not respond to his name. He usually does not respond to our instructions. The times he responded, I thought it was just pure luck.
Really need to observe him more and go to Dr Lee for his review

Celeste wrote this story because daddy asked her to write "a story combining different fairytale characters". She couldn't spell many words so I helped her with them. Otherwise she did everything herself.

Our alfresco zi char dinner. Hehe. Nice place but I thought it was a bit unhygienic coz the little specks of powder-like thing from the coconut tree kept dropping on the table and ultimately landed on our food. Kinda yucky! Otherwise it'll be a nice place to chill sans the baby. ; p

And reason why we went all the way to Changi? To Let the baby take his nap. He didn't take his afternoon nap and by 5pm he was all grouchy. So a long car ride to send him to sleep! Daddy's idea! :)

Daddy is going HK again. We'll miss him!

Every weekend is a time for mummy to recuperate so we don't go out much.

This morning, the kids drew (or scribbled) together.




Then, Celeste went for piano lessons. And we went to Robinsons after that.


Reached home to see Cyrus playing his favourite clips by himself quietly. What a bliss for our ears (momentarily)

Always find Cyrus ' s sleep position v cute! Why choose to sleep like that? :)

7pm: made Cyrus go to sleep. But halfway through the usual bottle of milk before sleep, Cyrus pushed the bottle away and started sitting up, then standing up. In my mind, I was like "oh no.... here we go again! " usually he obediently finishes his milk, then goes to sleep alone. These 2 days, he's a terror. He cried and screamed all his might for a good I dunno how many minutes before grandma rescued him. Guess I'll have another tough night. :( now he's out with grandma and grandpa. I hope he gets wound down for sleep.

2hrs of on off crying from Cyrus. .... Sent him to sleep at 7.pm but he just couldn't get to sleep.  Kept walking around and standing up in the cot. Only fell asleep at 9pm after I put him in the carrier. Even after he slept and we put him back in bed,  he knew and climbed up twice before settling for good (I hope. It's 9.42pm now).

Have to work tmrw. Gd night.  

It's Cyrus' first swim at a pool! He was rather scared at first I think. Kept clinging onto me. But gradually got better but he still refused to wear the float. Think we'll go again in near time to come!

Went to River ang pao coz Cyrus slept in the car on our way back at 6pm so we thought we'll just make a quick pop there. Who knows, it's really crowded there. Not worth going to squeeze with people
