Poor Cyrus... today is his 5th day of fever. I thought that his fever would start to subside but instead of tapering down, it's going upwards. Yesterday night, it hit a high of 41.3deg celsius!
So we brought him back to Dr Lee who found that Cyrus now has middle ear infection. The start of another nightmare! So now Cyrus has 2 more medicines on his list. One of them is the dreaded antibiotics :(
So despite the first dose of antibiotics, his fever still hovered around in the high range today. Really wonder if it'll get better. afraid that he has to end up in hospital because he is not drinking a lot of water too...
On tuesday, Cyrus was 12.2kg, today when we weighed him, he's 11.8kg!
Is it for Real? Cyrus is gradually being weaned off his Pacifier?
We started the weaning process 3 days ago. Today is the fourth day.
On the 1st day, we started by not giving him for his nap. He fell asleep without crying probably due to the fact that he was tired. During the night sleep, we still gave him his pacifier.
On the 2nd day, grandma said that Cyrus cried before going to sleep without his pacifier. At night, it was our first time not giving him his pacifier.initially he didn't cry but after some time, he started to cry for it. Think he cried quite Long! In the middle of the night, he cried for it again but I ignored him. Could hear him do imaginary sucking of pacifier. So funny.
On the 3rd day, same thing he cried during his afternoon nap but come night time, he only cried for 15 mins before giving up.
Tonight, he cried for just less than 5 mins! Actually he wasn't even crying. I think he was screaming.
On, take back my words. He has not fallen asleep but at least he's quite quiet for now.
