Positive reinforcements works like charm on Celeste. Keep praising her and she'll want to work for more praises. She managed to blade, no... Shuffle... unaided with daddy behind her. Very daring!

Dear Celeste,

last week I asked you if you wanted to learn how to roller blade, you were very enthusiastic about it and I thought that perhaps, I could enrol I in a class at Bishan Park. However, daddy was very confident in teaching you himself, so we decided to get a pair of blades for you and see if daddy is really good or not.

Tdy, we finally saw a suitable pair of blades, size just right, pink and not terribly expensive. So we got it and the minute we were home, you got into the blades and had your first lesson on the soft mat. I must say that you show greater potential than me. Your balancing skills look superb and you look like you can blade naturally. Proud of you!

I feel ashamed of myself though. Daddy has given up on me already. Haha. Anyway, with your natural looking posture, I think daddy has an easy job. You look like a promising student. Keep it up! I hope you can blade well and fulfill my blading dreams instead. Hahaha...

Celeste: my baby girl (botak doll) sleeps at 30 o'clock. I ask her to go and sleep
Me: 30 p'clock? U mean 3 o'clock?
Celeste: yes.. 3 o'clock.
Me: is it 3 in the morning or 3 in the afternoon?
Celeste: afternoon...
Me: so she takes a nap just like you.. U sleep at 2 o'clock and she sleeps at 3. So what time does she wake up?
Celeste: 2 o'clock.
Me: 2 o'clock?!
Celeste: yes 2 o'clock!
Me: how can it be 2 o'clock? How can time go backwards? Time cannot go backwards...
Celeste: but my clock time can go backwards one...
Me: wah... I also want your clock.. Can go backwards.

Celeste is gd at using the mouse now... The online readers is very useful to teach her how to read

We went shopping tdy and Celeste saw a lot of nice dresses and shoes. However, in order not to cultivate a shopperholic, we had to teach her that although there were many beautiful items that she liked, she couldn't buy everything. So if something is expensive, we cannot buy it for her.

Today we went to orchard to shop, more to window shop actually, so naturally the prices there were high. So everytime Celeste saw something she liked, she asked me if it was expensive. I had to disappoint her everytime because the dresses weren't really cheap! But she did not make a fuss and carried on looking for her next dress.

At the end of the night though, she complained that "it's not fair". "I never buy anything". Lol... So we got her packet if Yan Yan biscuits instead. That made her happy~

Celeste: you can sleep or not?
Daddy: er... No
Celeste: you want me to read a story to you or not?

Hahaha... Celeste is really cute :) would like her to tell us her funny story but that means she take a longer time to zz...
