Celeste and her wonderful idea of taking a photo of our ages just as we were walking to Vista Point.
It has been more than a week already. Celeste doesn't need to suck her thumb to go to zz for both her noon naps and night sleeps. Occasionally at night she will still suck if she's stressed (like she when she suddenly cried one night and comforted herself back to zz by sucking her thumb. Asked her if she knew she was sucking her thumb, she said she didn't. So, I didn't make a fuss out of it) for the initial times she put her heart to stopping the thumb sucking habit and it worked, all of us loaded her with non-stop praises. :)
So happy for her.
Next to go are the diapers. But have to wait till she's ready herself! Meanwhile, we just hope that she doesn't put on any more weight coz we still have 3-4packets of xl diapers!
She entertained herself before playing with water.
LOL.
This is the new name Celeste gave herself. Apparently, she loves this name a lot. She calls herself Janell whenever she puts on her "long hair" (which is the mattress cover) and goes around talking to us in her new identity.
Mummy & Celeste fell sick at the same time. Celeste started off with fever which thankfully only lasted for a day or 2... After that had cough and a little runny nose. Same as mummy...
We were NEX shopping centre when suddenly, Celeste proclaimed, "I don't like Thomas Train. Thomas Train is for boys. "
Ah? Sudden change of heart? Indeed, that night, she refused to wear her Thomas Train pyjamas and even offered to give it away!
Gee... she's really into her "Princess" thingy now.
Daddy bought this FISH lantern for Celeste but Celeste doesn't like it!
LOL. Celeste tried to take a group photo using her short little arms and this is the result of it.
Celeste hates the flash so she purpose closes her eyes first.
Love the deck chairs at the park. Very nice to lounge there... with the gentle breeze :D Shall go there more often!
Our hotel, Kowloon Hotel, is a real tight squeeze. The bed was just a Queen sized bed. omg. So small! How were we going to survive the night? But of course, all these didn't matter to Celeste ;)
Lotsa walking and Celeste couldn't quite tahan. So... poor us had to take turns to carry this 18kg piggie :p Some exercise for us.
At night, we went out for dinner (late late late) and did some night shopping. The amount of people was crazy!! Uncomparable to Singapore, nor Taiwan, nor Japan. Crazy... what were they all doing outside?! Then we remembered, it was a Friday night. No wonder the whole HK was out.
2nd day, off we went to Disneyland. Celeste was very excited, but quite a bit of waiting as we were taking a chartered coach to Disneyland dampened a little of her spirits. Plus the unrelentless hot weather also made her a little grouchy.
Hence, when we reached Disneyland, all Celeste wanted was to take photos with the REAL Mickey & Minnie Mouse. Of course, no real Mickey and Minnie yet.. only sculptures, so most of the pictures were taken with her purposely looking away or hiding behind us! Naughty girl...
Aha! We saw a snaking queue waiting to take photos with Mickey & Minne. The queue was horribly long and it started to drizzle. Poor Daddy queued up by himself and I took Celeste inside the shops & other exhibits to occupy the time and seek shelter. Alas, after a long period of time.. don't know how long, perhaps 45mins - 1 hr? We FINALLY managed to take a few snaps with Mickey & Minnie! Well, we made the most of it by taking individual photos! :p
By then, lunch was approaching and we decided to let Celeste try the Mickey Waffles. So cute! She was excited to see it and we even sang a Birthday Song to her! LOL. She was of course even happier!
After lunch, Celeste was a bit drowsy already. Refused to take photos with Buzz Light Years.. haha.. so we left her in the stroller at the side and went to take photos ourselves :P
Celeste still sucking her thumb in the stroller, trying very hard to sleep... but to no avail coz of the colourful scenery and loud music. Check out the time on the clock! 2.15pm!
Celeste finally fell asleep at 3pm after lotsa rounds of pushing in the stroller by Daddy...and awoke at 330pm. Just in time to watch the Parade ;)
Very nice parade even though I didn't understand what they were singing coz all in Cantonese. But Celeste was still grouchy from being woken up by the loud music so she didn't want to take ANY photos.
Bought a pretty Sleeping Beauty costume for her, together with tiara and wand and bags and gloves. Came up to almost S$100! (Note: upon reaching Singapore, I realised that her Princess costume is torn!!!!!! Ahhhh!!!! Probably because she wore it while taking all the rides... bleah)
Finally could queue up to take the rides.. Celeste loved the ride where she could control the machine to go up and down so much she wanted to take it again. Hehe..
Ice-cream time to stay hydrated! This Mickey ice-cream costs S$4! Wah...
More photo taking before the night ended....
