To our secret group: The Diary of Celeste & Cyrus
So what do we do on an extremely hazy public holiday? We stay indoors.
Guess what we're doing?
With really bad haze these few days, we had no choice but to stay indoors.
Today after work and dinner, I decided to bake banana muffins with the kids. Daddy was in hk so it's me and them only. Had to do something or else they'll fight!
Luckily, muffins are real simple. Both had a chance to do something. Measure, pour, mix,mash, stir. I think they enjoyed it.

The kids cannot wait to eat the muffins so they huff and puff and blow.
Verdict? We could do better!
It's no easy feat to get Cyrus to brush his teeth but this week, he automatically asked to brush his teeth a few times! So what's the magic?
Tada! Stamps! Cyrus likes to stamp the stars so far every successful brushing of teeth, he gets to stamp a star. Successful meaning he brushes first then we do a thorough job for him.
As we get to know him better, we find that hey... he is actually quite manageable and a good boy. He listens to us and tries to be good too. Really enjoy being with him now at this age.
Today was Celeste''s first swimming lesson with teacher hanrong. It went well especially since this is not her first time learning to swim and furthermore she has her classmate Sophia to be with her. Teacher hanrong said she was very confident and would be fine. No pics of her because I was bz swimming and taking care of cyrus. A pity because they tried jumping into the pool from the board! Never mind, there's still next lesson.
Then during dinnertime, only Cyrus went out with us as Celeste went out with grandma.
We had dinner at Ambush, Takashimaya. Nice pasta, clam chowder and paella. Too bad celestial didn't join us, her favourites! Anyway Cyrus ate like a grown up. Really gd boy...

Tomica world busy highway
We bought a mega big toy for him as we had a $50 voucher and just nice, Tomica had a sale going on. So lucky Cyrus got a toy he loved.
He played non-stop at home. Hope the toy serves it's purpose!

The mat was Completely covered with her stuff from school!
Celeste was trying to pack her things and look for her books. Haha.
Celeste suddenly thought of writing something while we were in the car, on our way home.
She may be young but she's already thinking of mature topics! Check out her work... 2 pages for now

It's been a busy day even though I'm off for work. Took leave coz I wanted to attend Cyrus' PTC.
Early in the morning, took Celeste to school first :) hope to be able to send her to school daily soon!
Then shortly after, Cyrus woke up. Upon hearing that I was doing my work ( I was marking while waiting for him to wake up ), he also said he wanted to do work! So we sat down to do some math and some pasting of stickers.
He super loves bowling pins! Every time we do work, he insists on turning only to that page. He managed to count the number of pins and I guided him to write.
Then daddy and I went for the PTC. Glad to hear that Cyrus is improving. Understands and responds to teachers. He's also trying to participate actively in class. However, I wasn't too happy when Chinese teacher, 郑老师, said that he walks around the classroom with abother boy at times! Need to talk to him about it but doubt he understands me!
Brought Cyrus to Hokey Pokey.as usual, he spent 3/4 of out time there playing cars.
I even managed to have a coffee by myself outside the playground!
Lunch time, I did my nails for teachers day then went home to fetch Celeste out for a movie.
Dead tired now!
Our 2nd half of Sunday. . Too much food!
Grandma gave an almost empty tin of milk powder to dig in. He literally stuck his fingers in and happily ate all the milk powder. It was only after that I realised he cut his pinkie against the tin. *guilty*
For dinner, we ate at Kuishin Bo. It's been ages since we've come here. It's Celeste's first time and I think she had fun choosing her own food from the kiddy counter

Celeste managed to swim a short distance using her unorthodox method while Cyres swam a lot using his float! New record for both of them!
