Time flies. This is Cyrus's 3rd time at polliwogs. Or maybe fourth? He roams around quite comfortably now, sometimes still whiny, but a good portion of time exploring and playing with his favourite balls.

Dinner at the food court and Celeste requested to have her photo taken. Such a sweet girl. She eats her dinner all by herself and doesn't bother me. Cyrus gets my full attention during dinner time. Lucky him! Thank you Celeste for being so sensible. :)

Another photo requested by Celeste. Quite cute!

Ending off with Cyrus's usual whine. Cannot see mummy, whine. Cannot get something, whine. Don't like something, whine. He's very good at tugging my heart strings.

30 mins of fun at nex before we chionged our dinner and rushed home so that Cyrus could sleep on time. He took a 2 hour morning nap only and was rather cranky by dinner time. Luckily he enjoyed the waterplay though!

Her shaky tooth is out! Daddy, the dentist, pulled bit by bit before the tooth gave way. Celeste is excited to see her tooth drop. Lol

Naughty grandma let Cyrus wear Celeste's shoes! He likes how the shoes go tap tap tap and comes to us with the shoes, babbling, when the shoes come off. He wants us to wear them for him!

Daddy wanted to watch TV and realised the remote control was missing. Celeste and daddy searched the whole house for about 20 mins before giving up. They were certain that it was Cyrus who hid it. They searched all the secret hiding places Cyrus has but to no avail. Grandpa continued the search but still, the remote was nowhere to be seen. So I told grandma to ask Cyrus tmrw when he wakes up. Haha. Don't think he can give us any answer though!

When it was time for me to sleep, guess what I saw on the bed? The remote control the entire family was looking for! Seems like Cyrus didn't hide it. It's just that we are lousy seekers. Lol

Brought sps pupils to Dunman High for this symphonic concert. Took Celeste there as well but too bad she didn't know how to appreciate it. She said it was too boring and that she shouldn't have followed me out. Haha. It was great for me though. My first symphonic Orchestra concert. Rather enjoyable.

Had complimentary tickets to the light seeker @ rws. Daddy didn't want to go so Celeste went with me.

Doesn't Celeste look beautiful? :)

Found some photos.. not sure if I've posted them?

Hehe.. really funny photos of Cyrus

One of Cyrus's favourite grantees nowadays is hide and seek. I'll hide the object and he'll look for it. It started off with Sofia the doll. Now, it can be anything. He'll bring me the object and show me the "where? " hand sign and I'll hide it. Hehe.

Today, he hid a few markers in his cot and asked me to find! Lol. Luckily I was just beside him when he was putting them into the cot. "Found" them easily. :)

With the ban of tv for Cyrus, I now can no longer use my phone in front of him too. Because I used to show him old macdonald song on t YouTube, he has learned to nod his head whenever he wanted to watch it. I would promptly show him the video. So now, I have to keep my phone out of sight as he occasionally signals to me that he wants to watch YouTube! This in turn means I don't get to take photos of him as and when I like. I might have to use my digital camera instead in future!

Tdy while we were at the coffee shop for breakfast, I saw Cyrus transfixed to the TV there. Lol. After just 2 days of cold turkey, the tv must have been really a treat for him! Hope his development improves and I don't need to shed anymore tears come the next checkup

Today, I took uccl because it was Celeste's parent-teacher meeting day. Celeste's progress in school is good as usual. Ms Serena Tan mentioned that there's no major issues about her. She's very mature and a high ability student. However, her chinese teacher, although said that Celeste is a very keen learner, she does not speak well in Mandarin and needs lots of practice in speaking mandarin. She urged us to create a mandarin speaking environment for her so that she would lose out in future. Overall, I think Celeste is progressing very well and there's no need to worry about her.

Cyrus is on the opposite end though. We finally managed to see dr lee today. Seems like mummy is not wrong to be worried about him. Dr lees said that he does seem like not on the norm for his cognitive skills. However, she also told us to monitor more and go back for a review in three months time as it's still too early to assess whether he has autism. His lack of response to us and name is a worry but she emphasises that his ability to point, good eye contact does not seem to put him on the spectrum. So she's really positive about it and reassures me that she doesn't really think he has autism. Hope it's just a wrong feeling from me and Cyrus will grow to respond better in months to come. Perhaps he is really slower cognitively. Hope to have an answer soon so that early intervention can be done.

Anyway, at 15months, Cyrus is 11.3kg but not sure of his height as the nurse did not manage to take his height due to the room we were supposed to use being taken up.

Oh yes, dr lee also said Cyrus should not be watching any TV, iPad or iPhones. Need to ensure he doesn't get sucked into TV. He really needs to learn to focus.

Celeste talked and talked nonstop to uncle Ryan. When the event finally ended at 2 plus, she fell asleep in the car very quickly. Must have been tied taking for 3hrs!

Having fun with his bowl after "eating"

Pretending to eat actually. Gave him his bowl and cutlery to play with as we hurriedly ate our dinner

Just the 3 of us for dinner today as Celeste is with grandparents at the temple.

Cyrus managed to sit through the dinner without biscuits today. Gave him his cutlery and a bowl. A tiny bit of flavoured rice. Tada! He played with his cutlery and tried to eat the rice with them. When he couldn't manage, he used his hands. Thank god for wipes. I managed to keep him relatively clean.

Brought Celeste and Cyrus to the newly opened children's playground at gardens by the bay. Very big waterplay and it's free!

This is Cyrus's 2nd time to a waterplay. I think he enjoys it a lot. He is very daring as compared to Celeste. Not afraid of water and even managed to walk himself in the older kids play area!

Celeste was as usual like a very responsible big sister. She took care of Cyrus most of the time. Actually it's all the time. So daddy and I needn't accompany Cyrus at all. Celeste is indeed a very wonderful helper!

Cyrus is going to N1 next year!

Cannot quite imagine how he'll be like as he'll only by 2 years old actually. Will he be bullied? Will he adapt? We'll just have to let him try it out and see how things go!
