Yesterday celeste told me that she went up on the monkey bars and managed to swing on it. Wow!! I have never tried monkey bars. They have never been on my mind. Haha. But I'm glad celeste is adventurous and despite her saying she is afraid of heights, I think it's still a marvellous feat for her! Her friends encouraged and taught her well too. Hope that she enjoys school and makes good friends in school!
No, the little helper is not cyrus or celeste. It's our new robot! It helps to clean our house. Vacumn, sweep and mop! So nice having it. It means I don't need to sweep and mop the house individually. cyrus seems to be a little afraid of it. He runs to the sofa and looks at the robot. Doesn't go near it. He runs across its path whenever it comes near him. What a funny sight!
Well done celeste. I'm quite sure I blogged about this somewhere but just couldn't find it.
Although celeste got a Merit, highest is a distinction, we're still happy for her. All I had wishes for was a pass and I knew she'll do better than a pass. A distinction would just be a bonus. According to Teacher Yan, celeste got the highest for grade 1. She's the highest scoring merit. No distinctions in Prelude for grade 1. Celeste is just 4 marks away from distinction. I hope celeste will continue to work hard. Learning the piano is not easy but I hope she'll acquire this useful skill!

Retyping what I've typed just now. The post just went missing.
Recently cyrus has been drawing. In my previous post, I talked about drawing a dinosaur. That was because I saw a crocodile on cyrus's tee and was drawing for him. He thought it was a dinosaur instead and tried copying me.
He also drew a person. Potato man. With eyes, sometimes multiple eyes coz he learnt how to use the marker to dot dot dot. Always remembering the person has a mouth and curly hair. And 2 hands and legs. Quite a decent drawing! Reminds me of Celeste's potato man :)
Cannot believe that Cyrus is finally coming to celeste's age. He has been a challenging one to take care of. If I thought celeste was difficult, Cyrus is 10 times worse! He is generally grouchy and whiny. Rarely in a gd mood. If he wants his way, he will do everything to get it. Cry, whine, lie on the floor, piss u off. Everything. Hopefully he will get better once he reaches 4 or 5!
Mummy: you want more (sanzha)?
Cyrus: (both hands have sanzha and mouth still eating some) wait. Eating.
Whoa. I didn't expect that answer from cyrus!
Cyrus: mama draw dinosaur!
Mummy: I draw dinosaur? Can I draw cat?
Cyrus: no.
Mummy: dog?
Cyrus: no.
Mummy: car?
Cyrus: no. Mama draw dinosaur.
Mummy: I can only draw dinosaur?
Cyrus: (nods head)
What an obstinate boy!
It's been a long time since we watched a movie. The last time daddy and Mummy sent for a mummy and didn't bring celeste, celeste cried. So this time, we thought it'll be better to bring her although the movie might not be too interesting for her. It's after all a boy's movie!
Went hh&m to shop before the movie started. Impatient celeste kept asking when the movie was starting and she was just not interested in the many dresses I thought liked pretty! Ahh.. seems like she just prefers her old and comfy clothes and shoes!
Whole waiting for daddy, we take a selfie. Daddy loves eating in the cinema so he's bought kfc for us. I prefer sitting down in a restaurant to eat though! Prefer to be able to see my food.
After the movie, a little shopping before we decide that we're just too tired. And it was only 9plus then. We are indeed getting old! Saw a lot of youngsters at cineleisure... really not a place for us anymore.
Pancake from scratch! Celeste did the measuring, pouring and mixing entirely by herself!

And water play always keeps Cyrus silent! He just loves playing with water.
